FAX DIRECTOR II - Fax Switch

No Longer Available

With a FAX DIRECTOR II you can eliminate the need for costly dedicated fax lines. FAX DIRECTOR II makes it possible to share your phone line with your fax machine, while at the same time saving you hundreds of dollars a year.

FAX DIRECTOR II installs between your incoming phone line from the telephone company and all of your telephone devices. FAX DIRECTOR II answers all incoming calls on the first ring, then uses its transparent call screening operation to identify the type of call and ring the appropriate device. Manual fax calls are transferred to the fax by the receiving party dialing a two digit code on their telephone.

FAX DIRECTOR II provides a high quality ring back to the calling party to ensure that callers are unaware of FAX DIRECTOR II's presence. Plus, with FAX DIRECTOR II's barge-in protection, outgoing calls are unaffected and can be made as usual. If the line is in use, anyone attempting to make a call will hear a fast busy tone from FAX DIRECTOR II. FAX DIRECTOR II also features default transfer to the fax for manual fax calls. If the phone is not answered within a set number of rings, the call call can be automatically transferred to your fax.

FAX DIRECTOR II is compatible with popular telephone accessories such as answering machines and auto dialers and can be used with two line (non-KSU) or multi-line (KSU) phone systems.
