This IEEE-1284 switch allows two PCs to share two parallel printers or
parallel port devices (Zip drives, scanners, digital cameras etc.).
Unique printer selection
software for using two printers automatically routes print jobs.
Simply choose the desired printer in your Windows application, click
"Print" and the output is automatically routed to the correct
printer.

newer printers having printer's read-back feature for on-screen display of
information such as: out of paper, ink or toner levels, quantity of pages to
print and remaining time to complete the print job with multiple PCs
- Supports transferring -
files between two PCs (using DOS Interlnk, Laplink, Direct Cable Connection
etc.)
- Enables connecting -
devices such as ZIP drives, scanners and printers requiring bi-directional
communication to two PCs parallel ports
