With the RINGMANAGER II and the telephone company "distinctive
ringing" service, you can have a phone number for voice calls, a different number
for your fax and even another number for your modem, all on the same telephone line!
Think of Data-Doc's RINGMANAGER II as a constant listener that recognizes the differences
in the way telephones ring and directs a specific ring pattern (ie. normal, two-ring or
three-ring) to the device(s) that you have associated with each type of ring. This allows
you to connect "auto-answer" devices such as answering machines, fax machines,
modems etc. to the RINGMANAGER II and have them answer only those calls made to the
telephone numbers that you have associated with each device.
