The enclosure houses 12 high performance SATA II 3Gb/s hard drives and connects to the included x4 PCI Express SATA controller via a high-quality 6 ft. eSATA (4x) to MultiLane cable (also included).  Four 75mm fans ensure plenty of air flow and keep even the highest performance SATA hard drives running cool.

If the need arises, replacing a hard drive is quick and easy. No drive trays -- simply unlock the slot mechanism and slide the hard drive out -- slide in the new drive (automatically lines up correctly) and lock the slot mechanism.  Done!

The huge capacity and tremendous speed make the enclosure and card ideal for just about any demanding storage application, including:

Add the 8-Bay Expansion Module for a total of 20 drives!  Like the T12, the expansion module features tray less drive bays for quick and easy drive replacement.  The unit attaches to the connectors provided on the back of the T12 (connecting cables included) and expands the capacity from 12 drives to a total of 20!
