This 5 drive eSATA Port Multiplier enclosure combines support for
up to 5 of the fastest SATA drives with single cable connectivity and hot-swap versatility!
The enclosure features a built in high performance Silicon Image SiI 3726 SATA II port multiplier
and connects to a SATA host controller card through a
single port. Connect up to 5 drives to your computer with just a single eSATA cable!
Auto-negotiation for 3Gb/s and 1.5Gb/s drives - installation is as simple as
securing the drives to the trays.
Start out with a single drive for simple data storage, or
fill the enclosure with five drives to create
up to a huge 10 Terabyte striped RAID array. Combine two enclosures for uncompressed 10-bit HD video capture and editing!
Accommodates five 3.5-inch SATA hard disk drives with hot-swappable trays
Supports RAID 5, RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 10 and JBOD via software utilities
